Rozhan Tajik Bio

In 2013, after completion of my undergraduate studies in cell biology, I returned to Afghanistan and started working as Media and Culture Team-Leader for Help, a non-profit organization. I was involved in several projects related to women empowerment, raising public awareness and capacity building. In 2015, recognizing the need for public health experts, I decided to pursue MA studies as a Fulbright scholar in the United States.

In 2017, I worked as a health promoter with the International Rescue Committee (IRC) in Atlanta. I also worked with CARE-USA as monitoring and evaluation intern with the Sexual and Reproductive Health and Rights team. My MPH thesis was on policies and programs addressing Adverse Childhood Experiences (ACEs) in the United States. I believe in bringing a change through providing effective strategies and practical trainings, as as well as developing instrumental policies and guidelines to ease the risks and improve social awareness about public health issues.

I am excited about being part of Simplify Global Education and contributing toward greater access to quality education.
